Hi there! I'm just reading the Diana Gabaldon novels about Jamie Fraser, an 18th century Scot - I suppose some of you know the books ("Outlander", "Voyager", "Dragonfly in Amber" and "Drums of Autumn"). They made me curious about the historical background of the books and I already found out about some points like the battle at Culloden and the subsequent persecution and (almost) extinction of the Scottish clans. Is there anybody who can tell me whether those books are historically "correct"? I'd like to know! Petra
