: I, too, just finished reading the Outlander Series and I must say that I miss that "other" world! Know of any other books that may bring me away from reality as those did?

: Although I don't live in Scotland, it is my heritage in which I'm very proud of and spend much time learning about. The Scottish men in the movies are ALWAYS beautiful...it's easy to be beautiful in a grand kilt...but it's really what lies deep under the exterior of the Scot that is so beautiful, and so tragic at the same time. We've been weaved with undying Spirit and Pride for our home, and I think that is sometimes what is so attractive to the unlooker...the romance of it all.
: I think you'd find it worth your time to dig a little deeper to experience the true Scotland...gradh mo chridhe

: Hi Padraigin & Despina
I am too Scottish Descent and very proud of it.
I just read Robert Mc Gregor by Murray and I enjoyed the book very well. If like Scottish History, you would love this book. There were so
many new things that had happen in Scotland's
History that I didn't know, One of them was that
during 1717; Swiss and the Dutch fought on Scotish
soil againist Rob Roy Mg Gregor. Now, I am reading a book about the Culloden by John Prebble.
I have met the author of Outlander series at
the Scottish Highland Games, here in California.
Despina, if you like the Scottish Culture, look up
in your area for the next Highland Games.
Scottish Forever, Kathleen!!!!!!
