    SPIRIT OF
LOCH NESS is a converted Dutch barge.

She was built in the Leid shipyard in Leiden in Holland, and was originally used on European canal network for general cargo.

Powered by a Daimler-Benz 120 hp marine diesel engine, she's wider than most European barges, and with more room on forward and after decks, affords greater freedom of movement to passengers.

There's space to move around and observe the passing scenery, or just to sit and let it all float by.

The same spaciousness is echoed img0023.gif - 21.4 K below beck where the comfortable saloon is large enough for everyone, while at the same time it has an intimate and cosy atmosphere.

Here guests can sit and read, play cards or board games, listen to music, or just enjoy the disappearing pleasure of conversation.
